    • Variable Plus Contract (NYMEX Plus Basis)

Designed for customers who wish to purchase electricity at market prices, but also want to lock in their “basis” (price between NYMEX pricing point and utility city gate). This product is suited to customers who wish to participate in downward markets but ensure stable transportation rates. The NYMEX plus Basis rate will work best for customers who expect market prices to decline and want to avoid being locked in at the current market rate.
